If you're on this page it's because you've clicked through from a link on my CV. This is where I want to store my work from my Masters at Oxford, where I studied the internet and how it changes people's IRL behaviour. I'm in the process of cleaning up some of my graphs and stuff in those pieces, but the findings broadly were:

  1. access to the dark net encourages people to take more psychedelics (I learned this from interviewing university-age drug users randomly recruited via wall-poster).
  2. Political astroturfing on Reddit can be identified by their posting patterns across a range of controversial topic (I learned this by scraping the internet using a list of account names known to be operated by international agencies).
